Meet Michael Jeter, co-founder and provider at DeFuniak All-Care Walk-In & Wellness Clinic. With decades of dedicated service in the medical field and is board certified as an autonomous Family Nurse Practitioner, Michael brings a wealth of expertise to the practice. Trained at the University of Alabama and South University, he specializes in urgent care/acute care, family medicine, DOT physicals, medical weight loss, and men’s health, reflecting a commitment to addressing diverse healthcare needs within the community.

Beyond his professional achievements, Michael is a devoted family man with a successful marriage and two children, Tyler and Madison. In his role as a co-founder, he actively contributes to creating a healthcare environment that values patient well-being and strong family ties. Michael’s compassionate care, extensive experience, and dedication to both professional and personal aspects of life make him a respected figure in the healthcare community.

Meet Tommy Simmons, APRN, FNP-C, co-founder, and provider at DeFuniak All-Care Walk-In & Wellness Clinic. Beginning his medical journey with comprehensive training at Troy University, Tommy is a seasoned healthcare professional committed to delivering high-quality care. As a board-certified autonomous nurse practitioner, his expertise spans urgent care/acute care, family medicine, DOT physicals, medical weight loss, men’s health, and Botox/Dysport.

Beyond his professional role, Tommy values family, celebrating a happy marriage with his wife Jennifer, and actively participating in the lives of his three sports-loving boys, Grayson,Payton and Aydan. As a co-founder, Tommy brings both medical expertise and a genuine understanding of the importance of family dynamics to DeFuniak All-Care Walk-In & Wellness Center.

Whitney Rushing’s career in healthcare has been diverse and impactful. She has held various roles, including assistant director of nursing (DON) and registered nurse (RN) in hospice care. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of South Alabama, Whitney has consistently shown a commitment to excellent patient care and strong leadership.

As an Assistant DON, Whitney oversaw nursing staff and ensured the delivery of high-quality care. Her work involved optimizing efficiency, fostering teamwork, and improving patient outcomes. Later, as a hospice RN, she provided compassionate care to patients and families during end-of-life transitions, emphasizing empathy and holistic support.

Whitney is also a devoted wife to her husband, Zach, and a loving mother to her two sons, Wyatt and Archer. Despite her busy career, she finds time for her family and enjoys outdoor activities like swimming and fishing with them. She is committed to instilling values of kindness and integrity in her children.

In her current role as an adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner (AGPCNP), Whitney combines her clinical expertise with her compassionate approach. She remains dedicated to patient-centered care and advocates for the well-being and dignity of everyone under her care. Whitney’s background reflects her commitment to making a positive impact in both her professional and personal life.

Meet Madison Jeter, a passionate and quirky aesthetic professional dedicated to helping clients feel their best. With a love for waxing and expertise in non-invasive treatments, she uses her artistic eye and advanced techniques to deliver natural, beautiful results.

As the daughter of the co-owner and provider, with her mother also part of the team, Madison takes pride in working alongside her family to provide exceptional care. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, friends, and boyfriend. Known for her warm, approachable demeanor and sense of humor, Madison strives to make every client’s experience both effective and enjoyable. Her mission is to enhance natural beauty while creating a comfortable, personalized experience.

Brittiney is a driven, licensed esthetician and Certified Medical Assistant with over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Brittiney has specialized in dermatology, nephrology, pain management, and OBGYN . Passionate about helping clients feel confident and beautiful in their own skin, Brittiney is dedicated to providing exceptional services that cater to each client’s individual needs. With a passion for lashes, brows, facial massage, and body contouring, Brittiney strives to empower and uplift everyone who walks through the door, ensuring they leave feeling their absolute best.

Always eager to grow professionally, Brittiney is committed to continuously expanding her skill set by staying up to date with the latest techniques, tools, and trends in the industry. Outside of work, Brittiney is a proud mom to three incredible children—Jayden (15), Jaxson (11), and KaLeigha (4) — and can often be found cheering them on at football, basketball games and other sporting events.
